Your Questions Answered

We understand that choosing memorial jewelry is a meaningful decision for each individual. Below are answers to some frequently asked questions to help you feel more confident in your decision

What materials are used in your jewelry?
  1. S925 Sterling Silver
  2. 14K and 18K Gold
  3. Medical-Grade Stainless Steel
  4. Italian Leather Cord
Can I customize a piece of jewelry?

Yes, we offer customization options to add personal touches that make each piece uniquely yours.

How do I care for my memorial jewelry?

To maintain its shine, gently clean your jewelry with a soft cloth and store it in a dry place.

What happens to the remaining ashes?

Since the materials used are extremely precious, any remaining ashes will be carefully preserved and returned together with the finished product to ensure complete delivery.

Can a whole tooth or relic be directly fused into the glass bead?

No.

Reason 1: Glass beads have size limitations and cannot fully enclose an entire tooth or relic.

Reason 2: To ensure the final product meets our company’s quality standards, the material must be ground into powder before fusing. This guarantees that the ashes or elements are completely sealed, achieving long-term preservation, moisture resistance, and durability.

Can the ashes be taken out from the glass bead in the future?

No, it is not possible. With the current method, the ashes are ground into powder and fused during firing. The glass and ashes are tightly sealed together, making it impossible to separate them again.

How much hair is needed for production?

The composition of ashes and hair is completely different. Therefore, if hair is used, we recommend referring to the sample photo for the suggested amount to ensure that the final product can be properly completed.

After production with hair, will the hair strands still be visible?

Before firing, our company uses a proprietary technique to extract the carbon element from the hair. As a result, the appearance will not be in the form of visible, individual hair strands.

Why are there bubbles?

Bubbles are a natural phenomenon. During high-temperature firing, ashes or hair release gases, and when these gases are trapped inside the glass, bubbles are formed. These bubbles also represent the unique fusion between the material and the glass.

Will there be tolerances during the firing of the glass bead?

Yes. Since each glass bead is handcrafted by artisans, there may be slight size variations of about ±0.1–0.2 mm. These small differences do not affect the appearance or preservation but instead add to the uniqueness of each piece.

Can the color of the glass bead be chosen?

Yes. Our company offers 33 colors for customers to choose from. Each color symbolizes different emotions and memories, allowing customers to select the memorial jewelry that best represents their personal preference.

What if the surface of the glass bead gets worn or scratched?

It can be repaired. If the glass bead surface develops scratches or a frosted appearance from long-term wear, we recommend sending it back to our company for restoration to its original shine.

⚠️ Note: The repair process will not affect the preservation of the ashes inside. However, since the restoration requires high-temperature treatment, the distribution of ashes within the glass may undergo slight changes.

Is the setting of the glass bead secure?

Yes. Every piece undergoes our company’s strict QC process before shipment to ensure the setting is firm and safe. Under normal use, there is no need to worry about the bead falling out or becoming loose.

⚠️ Note: If the customer feels any movement of the bead during wear, we recommend stopping usage immediately and sending it back to our company for inspection and repair.

What is the difference between K gold and S925 sterling silver? Does K gold never oxidize?

All metals undergo oxidation. K gold is composed of different proportions of gold and alloy.

Gold oxidation appears as a foggy, darker tone that is not easily noticeable to the naked eye.Alloy is added as a necessary component to increase hardness, and since alloy compositions vary, the oxidation rate also differs.

In comparison, S925 sterling silver is a more active element and oxidizes more easily when exposed to the environment. Therefore, compared to K gold, sterling silver oxidizes faster. However, with proper daily care, both materials can maintain their shine to a certain extent.

Why does silver jewelry tarnish and turn black? Is it normal if it happens after only a few wears?

All our silver jewelry is made with S925 sterling silver. Over time and through contact with air, silver naturally undergoes sulfuration, which causes tarnish. This is a unique characteristic of sterling silver. The rate of oxidation varies depending on usage habits, but the shine can be easily restored with a silver polishing cloth.

How many characters can be engraved on the jewelry?

The engraving space varies slightly depending on the style. To ensure clarity and aesthetics, we recommend following the character limit indicated on the order form. In general, most styles allow engraving of a name and a date, which is sufficient to preserve the most important memory.

How should I take care of the jewelry?

To keep your jewelry shining and beautiful for a long time, we recommend:

Daily cleaning: Use the included silver polishing cloth to gently wipe the surface.

Avoid chemicals: Keep away from perfume, cosmetics, or cleaning agents, as they may accelerate oxidation.

Proper storage: When not wearing, store it in the provided zip bag to reduce exposure to air.

When to remove: We suggest taking it off when bathing, soaking in hot springs, exercising, or sleeping to protect the jewelry’s structure. These simple care practices will help your memorial jewelry remain radiant and accompany you with peace of mind every day.

Will the glass bead allow water to seep in?

No. Our company has a strict QC process to ensure that the fused glass bead is fully sealed with the ashes. It is not affected by environmental factors and is suitable for long-term preservation.

How much material (ashes / hair / tooth / incense ash & vajra sand) is needed?

Only a very small amount is required: • Ashes / incense ash / vajra sand: about 1/4 teaspoon

• Hair: a small pinch (enough to fill a 4×6 cm zip bag)

• Tooth: a fragment about the size of a mung bean, or a small tooth This amount is usually sufficient to make 2–3 pieces of jewelry.

If the material is insufficient, we can add gold powder to assist the presentation.

For glass beads with special shapes (non-round), will the color appear lighter?

Due to differences in the production process, glass beads with special shapes may appear slightly lighter in color compared to round ones. This variation is a natural phenomenon and also gives each bead its own unique texture and character, making it a one-of-a-kind memorial piece.

Can the distribution of ashes/hair inside the glass bead (clustered, dispersed, with bubbles, or flake-like) be specified?

No, it cannot be specified. Since the glass is fused with ashes or hair under high temperatures, the final appearance is always unique and cannot be artificially controlled

Will there be color variations in the glass beads?

We carefully select high-quality glass materials, ensuring stable and pure colors. Round styles almost never show noticeable color variations; only in special (non-round) shapes, due to differences in craftsmanship, the color may appear slightly lighter. These subtle variations are the unique marks of handmade work, making each glass bead a one-of-a-kind treasure for you.

Will the glass bead break?

The glass beads are made using high-hardness glass materials imported from overseas suppliers. Each bead’s presentation has been tested by our company to ensure perfection, strength, and durability. Therefore, under normal use, breakage will not occur.

Will the glass bead fade in color?

No. The color of the glass bead is stabilized and fixed after high-temperature firing, and it will not fade over time.

Why does Lavender Purple appear to change color under different lighting?

Lavender Purple is a color with delicate layers. In dim lighting, it may appear slightly bluish, while in bright light it looks more purple. This characteristic of shifting with the light is part of what makes the glass bead unique—like how memories reveal different hues at different moments, accompanying you in every corner of daily life.

How long does it take to produce the jewelry?

The standard production period is 1.5 to 2 months, based on the number of days specified on the order form. If no special note is indicated, the standard time is 2 months.

⚠️ Please note: The above production time does not include shipping.

Can the color of the glass bead be adjusted after it is made?

No. Once completed, the color has already been fixed during the high-temperature firing process and cannot be changed. If you wish for a different color, a new glass bead must be produced.

Can jewelry be made in gold or platinum?

Currently, we do not provide this option.

Gold (24K): The material is too soft, making the setting unsafe and prone to deformation or loosening.

Platinum (Pt950): The craftsmanship required is different from our current production process, so it is not offered. At present, we focus on K gold (14K / 18K), which provides the ideal balance of hardness, safety, and premium quality.

Can necklace sizes be chosen?

Yes. We currently offer three standard sizes: 16 inches, 18 inches, and 20 inches. For men’s styles, a 24-inch option is also available. These lengths are thoughtfully designed based on daily wearing habits and aesthetic proportions, ensuring both comfort and overall design balance.

How should I clean jewelry if it becomes tarnished? Can I use silver polish solution?

Each piece comes with a dedicated silver polishing cloth. Simply wipe gently to restore its shine.

We do not recommend using silver polish solution, as improper soaking time or concentration may damage the surface of the silver. Regular gentle wiping is the best way to keep your jewelry bright and beautiful for the long term.

Why are the products so expensive? Regular jewelry on the market isn’t priced this high.

The essence of our work lies in expressing and carrying emotions through jewelry and glass. Therefore, it cannot be compared or measured by the standards of regular commercial jewelry.
